I always felt that MS gives us the unconventional and that was what I wanted. I loved learning more about Dorothy and how she got herself involved with everyone and I could understand it. My heart broke when she had to let someone leave! Hawk was a surprise I enjoyed the whole spin with him. I especially loved how much he loved Dorothy and Christopher.

Thank goodness for his Mom and Dad and all the Brady sayings! But I felt short changed on the reasons for what he did to his wife, kids and to Dorothy. And don't worry And I thought it was very realistic with how Dorothy felt about being older and what she looked like!

Cox - one word The book has a lot of fast forwards Some good things and some sad things so it will be interesting when we get ZZ's book.

Speaking of ZZ What the effing hell?? How can he ever come back from that That was soooo shocking! Deuce is gonna flip!! Desperately, I tried searching for a word that adequately described exactly what I was and came up empty. View all 41 comments. Sep 18, Virginia rated it it was amazing. I had the honor and privilege of beta reading UnBeloved. Once again, Madeline has done IT. God, I missed her brilliance as an author. UnBeloved is the fourth book in the UnDeniable Series, my all-time favorite series, and one of the most anticipated new releases of the year.

I said it after book 3, UnAttainable, and I need to say it again- each book in the series just keeps getting better and better. It is sheer brilliance and everything we have co I had the honor and privilege of beta reading UnBeloved.

It is sheer brilliance and everything we have come to expect and love from Madeline. Madeline will pull you in and you will not put your Kindle down until you finish. I finished in one day and I bet a lot of you will too. It is the story of the choices we make in life and how they affect both, us and the ones around us. You will fall in love with her brilliant writing, her witty sense of humor, her lovable characters, her amazing stories- all of it- all over again.

One minute she had me laughing or smiling as I pictured her writing the scenes and lines and the next she was tugging at my heart and emotions as the characters went through turmoil or emotional scenes. I felt myself wanting to reread it as soon as I finished. Is it normal to be SO invested in book characters? To feel like you want to know them, to live with them and be a part of their club?

To feel so emotionally for them? To love watching them as their lives progess and see what they go through? Madeline, her writing and her characters have touched a lot of us in so many ways and I know after reading UnBeloved you will be in awe of her once again. Call in sick. Get a babysitter.

Forget life for the day. Do whatever you need to do. Just read UnBeloved on release day. You will NOT regret it. And by the way, do you think it is too early to start bugging her for the next book? I can do that if you like. View all 3 comments. Sep 25, Jennifer Kyle rated it really liked it. Unfortunately, this story is the tale of the remnants of a love triangle gone bad For a club whore, she was devoted to one man Jase while she waited and waited and waited for him to leave his wife.

When Dorothy finds herself pregnant she lies, gets herself shot, and then runs away to live a safe life in California. My only real issue was the wasted time. My big wish is that Tegan gets the boot kill her off even and Cage falls for someone else and in that book give us more Dirty. Till the next ride, Horseman Forever!! View all 49 comments. We have all witnessed the mess they made out of their lives.

Or darkness has completely consumed them and they can't undo the past. Well-written and enjoyable but somehow failed to connect me with the heroes. Most of the time I felt like an innocent bystander watching a wreck that I couldn't prevent.

I didn't particularly missed the backstory but I did miss the reasoning so I could sympathize with the fight for redemption. That said Hawk's story totally blindfolded me and the outcome left somewhat heartbroken and disappointed What was that chapter at the ending????????? Anxiously waiting for the book As in JUNE 30, ! I bet you even thought: For years and years she was faithful to one guy. That eventually open some cracks in her and another guy took his chance.

It was all supposed to remain secret… until one event changes everything. Okay, this is probably my fault. I really hate love triangles but I still gave this one a try because I just love this series. For some reason this stayed way below the previous ones in my eyes.

And not in the good way. Writing Style: As always, although I had some problems with the way these people talk, it had good, engaging and addictive writing. Like usual. Character Development: Hawk was pretty good, I really liked him. A boring as hell heroine. View all 16 comments. It's also the story of my children, the men I loved, and the friends who were more family to me than my own. And for that reason alone, pain and death be damned, I wouldn't change a thing. A lot of the angst and drama with this love triangle begins in the previous book. Unbeloved spans many years with numerous changes taking place for the overall MC. Up until now we've had angsty foreplay with regards to Dorothy's complicated love life, which finally came to a head at a drama filled BBQ. I was giddy with nerves and excitement to find out how things got to that point between Dorothy, Jase and Hawk.

And unfortunately, I got more emotion from their tale when they were side characters rather than when an entire book was devoted to their journey. And that Ms. Sheehan, is what disappoints me the most.

I wanted to feel why Dorothy stayed with Jase as long as she did. I wanted to know what it was like when it was just the two of them. The connection that she felt with him. The hope that she held on to. And we get a piece of that in a flashback showing how they met, but that's it. No glimpses of happier times.

Sexier times. Something to show why Dorothy held on for all those years. Hawk was brought in late in the game in the previous book and I was excited to see how this relationship came about, but again I feel I didn't get enough. What drove Dorothy into Hawk's arms, and into his bed? Was he a replacement? An ego booster? Someone to make her feel better about herself, when all she had with Jase was self-doubt?

Bits and pieces of their complicated affair were sprinkled in to help the reader understand, but not enough to make you feel. And I think that's the crux of my problem.

This book didn't feel like enough. It felt more like walking into the aftermath of all those years. All that heartbreak, all that history between them and yet we only get brief snippets of certain moments in time. And while I appreciated the message of redemption that was woven throughout this book, I lost the connection I had built up with these characters.

Will this deter me from continuing on with the series? Absolutely not.

Madeline Sheehan - Undeniable Series

It just saddens me because I feel like this was a missed opportunity. But, moving on to a different couple These are two of the wackiest, craziest nymphomaniacs and drama queens I've ever seen. And I love every minute I get to see or hear them! They definitely deserve a little something! Thank you very much. I'll end this on a positive note and a bit of a request because I'm greedy like that. Now that Preacher's getting a book, can we please have more interactions between him and Deuce.

Their snarky and bitter banter is always a highlight for me. I can't NOT read this book, but I know it's going to push my hard limits to the extreme! I'm excited and terrified for the impending rollercoaster ride! Oct 01, Beverly rated it really liked it.

Was it horrible? Of course not! Did I love it? Unfortunately, no. I am torn in rating this I think some of the issues I had are not book related, but more about how I thought things would go. Despite the blurb which I almost never read I was expecting this to be current love triangle things picking up where they left off in book 3.

This story is more the fallout from the relationships they had. I really liked D 3. I really liked Dorothy, Hawk, and even Jase. I cannot describe to you how much I wanted to love this one.

When this book was released early It started out slow in the beginning. Telling background information and alternating between past and present. I was not at all happy with the events that took place, and I was seriously hoping up until the last moment that things would be different. This gif pretty much sums it up I had hoped for something different I will close with this…I have loved this series.

To me Ms. Sheehan is the queen of writing MC books. Undeniable was the first MC book I ever read and I fell madly in love with it. View all 38 comments. Jul 11, Jennifer rated it it was amazing Shelves: To be honest, I wasn't super excited about this story. View all 8 comments. Sep 22, Victoria rated it it was amazing Shelves: This is the book I had been anticipating above all others and finally I got it!

Told from alternating points of view of all three main characters and a series of flashbacks and fast-forwards, the story could have been disjointed, it was anything but. The pacing was flawless and smooth and the author had me from the very start and never let go.

Unbeloved certainly wasn't what I expected, but it wasn't a disappointment either. It was definitely a different book than others in the Undeniable series. It was a surprisingly emotional read, filled with heartbreak, reflection, and misery at times. Unbeloved was as much a story about growing up, accepting responsibilities for past mistakes, and for each of the main characters, the road to redemption. It was the first book in the series that had me crying more than once , slow quiet tears, as I hurt right along with the characters as they tried to accept the bitter taste of regret and wasted opportunities, of pain caused to those that should have been cared for and protected but that were neglected and discarded.

It would have been easy to pick apart these characters actions and behaviors. They all were certainly flawed. But Sheehan did a wonderful job of giving a glimpse into each characters motives, their intentions, even when motivated by nothing but selfishness and ego. Perhaps I had an easier time accepting each character and the many mistakes they made along the way because of the suffering and heartache each journeyed through.

I wanted my happily-ever-after. Instead of finding my prince, I found a whole mess of trouble. There were some lighter parts, not everything was so heavy. I loved the interactions between Preacher and Deuce. Deuce seemed like he really had grown into his own, more mellow, more of a mentor and caretaker of the members of the club. Cox and Kami were as crazy and wild as ever. The author did a good job of catching up with all the characters we love but not taking up too much story line with them.

Unbeloved was low on grit but high on real. Parts of the story were still wild and crazy but the bulk of the the story was about human nature and learning to move on than the normal club drama I was expecting. It was also lower on steam than the other books in the series. The connection between these characters, this club, came across loud and clear and nothing was lacking. I get that. Hell, I feel that too.

Fuck, I know you better than you know yourself. Stopping in the center of his room, he gripped the hem of his black T-shirt, pulled the threadbare material up over his head, and tossed it aside. Then he kicked off his boots, sending them flying across the room where they hit the wall with a loud thud. Then in one fluid movement, Hawk had removed both his leathers and boxers. The depth of emotion, the development of characters It wasn't what I was expecting, but I loved it all the same.

When I finished Unbeloved, it was all about ZZ. Madeline Sheehan always leaevs me wanting more. ZZ's been lurking in my mind for months now and Unbeloved did nothing but bring him to the forefront. The ending of Unbeloved was maddening and I have no idea how I'm going to make it to the release of Undying.

I have no idea how this story line is going but I'm so glad I'll be there for the ride! May 26, NMmomof4 rated it liked it Shelves: I was in the mood for an awesome angstfest, and this sounded just right for that -- but while I did cry and feel some, I think it missed the mark for the most part. I think it would've helped a ton if we experienced more of them developing feelings for each other, because I wanted to feel more for them as a couple! The ending was also all wrong for me. I'm keeping this brief, because it is hard to describe without ruining it.

This is Dorothy and Hawk's story. The story starts after a lot of things have gone down, and Dorothy is concerned for Hawk because he hasn't shown up for his Christmas visit with their son. They have a troubled past that we experience through flashbacks, and they have a lot of past baggage to sort through in order to find their way back to each other and get a HEA.

Overall Pace of Story: I skimmed some of the mc drama, but that's kind of usual for me and this theme. Again -- I didn't like the way we get a long separation and then a HEA.

I would've also liked getting more time experiencing them falling for each other. H rating: He went about getting with the h wrong, but I liked him. Younger Dorothy -- I didn't like so much, but luckily we only get her in flashbacks. Older Dorothy, I liked just fine. Sadness level: Moderate, I teared up but never needed any tissues. Yes view spoiler [ The story starts with it being years after the big drama between the h and H, and at this point they both had been pushing away for a while.

They both pursue the relationship at times as well. They have some good tension, chemistry, and scenes -- but not so much it takes away from the story. Descriptive sex: Yes Safe sex: No view spoiler [I don't remember any mention of birth control, std statuses, or previous practices. The h view spoiler [actually gets shot by one of the man's wife. A good bit of drama here. Not technically view spoiler [ There are some mentions of other scenes going on that are a little descriptive. Yes view spoiler [ Lots of cheating going on -- The h is married to OM when she first meets and gets with Jase.

She does divorce the OM during this time. Hawk then gets with Dorothy in secret as well, so she is cheating on Jase at this point. Yes view spoiler [They are separated for a while when she is first pregnant, and she was with the Jase and the H was with an undisclosed amount of OW both off page.

This had what felt like a rushed ending to me, and what I would reluctantly call a HEA ending view spoiler [they're married hide spoiler ]. I really felt like we readers needed more time with them as an official couple! Especially after all the other drama we went through. The epilogue was pretty much setting up another book in the series, and about that rather than the couple.

How I got it: I got it on loan through my public library. View all 6 comments. May 14, Linda rated it it was amazing Shelves: Dorothy, Jase, and Hawk Jase found himself pinned up against the elevator by his throat. View 2 comments. At the age of fifteen I found myself pregnant: When I was with him I was never consumed with feelings of inadequacy, fearing that every move I made was being compared to another woman.

With him, I felt almost free. BETRAYAL As soon as this fukka went live on Amazon I one clicked this bugga and turned off the phone, put the partner on mute and turned off life and I sat down with this and didn't not stop reading until I was done, I freaking love this series, so I knew I was in for one hell of a fucking good ride!!

I admittedly inhaled this book, licked the cover and fell in love with HAWK!! God I even had a few tear leaks when he had to say good bye to his brothers!! Because I always did. That ending had me wanting to hunt down this author yet again to demand her to stop jabbering and get writing me the next installment!!

Oh fuck it who am I kidding I went on an author stalker rampage and begged for her to hurry up with the next book!! Sep 21, Polly rated it liked it. Ok I had to sleep on my review. I also out of fairness for the author since I'm in a mega slump, wanted to talk it over with a few friends.

I don't mind if they are jerks, alphas, or killers.

I just want them to be faithful. This book lacked anything MC with the main characters. They were only together a short amount of time and lacked any passion. I j Ok I had to sleep on my review. I just didn't "FEEL" anything in the book except disgust for one character more on him below.

The book was pretty short and I really felt there could have been more to it. It's like M decided just to skim the surface. I was bored and uninterested. Hawk was pretty great. Dorothy was just ok.
